Privacy notice
Version 1.0 · Last updated 9 October 2026
This notice explains how BridgeSolve Ltd uses personal information in its business relationships and on www.bridgesolve.co.uk. It covers prospects, clients, suppliers, partners and people making enquiries. The separate Vietnam Trade Explorer is outside the website-technology review described here.
Who we are
BridgeSolve Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17118366, is the controller of the business information described in this notice. We provide Market Entry, Sourcing and Project Delivery support across the UK and Vietnam.
Contact Dean Taylor at dean@bridgesolve.co.uk for privacy questions, complaints or requests to exercise your rights.
Information we use and its sources
We use relevant names, organisations, job roles, business contact details, introduction sources, correspondence and proportionate enquiry or relationship notes. Where needed for an engagement, we also keep quotations, contracts, delivery records and relevant invoicing or payment information.
This information comes from you, your organisation, someone introducing us, or relevant publicly available business sources. If we obtain your details indirectly, we explain the source and purpose when we first contact you, or within the applicable legal timeframe.
When you visit the website, the hosting and security services receive technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time. The hosting service also sets a visitor identifier and provides traffic statistics, as explained below.
You can choose not to give us business information, but we may be unable to answer an enquiry or deliver an agreed service without the details reasonably needed. Please do not send unrelated sensitive personal information. This website has no enquiry submission form, customer account, online payment facility or newsletter sign-up.
Why we use information
- Legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries, maintaining relevant relationships, understanding requirements and delivering requested support for organisations. Our interests are running a proportionate consultancy business and providing useful services. We balance these interests against your rights and reasonable expectations. We also have an interest in secure, reliable website delivery and understanding aggregate traffic to improve the site.
- Contract: taking steps you request before a contract, or delivering it, where you personally are the contracting party. A contact person acting for a company is not automatically covered by this basis.
- Legal obligation: keeping records or responding to requirements imposed by tax, accounting or other law. Establishing or defending legal claims may instead rely on legitimate interests.
A UK GDPR lawful basis does not replace any separate requirement for consent to cookies or similar technologies. The current status of the hosting cookie is explained below. We do not sell personal information or use the website for advertising profiles. We do not make decisions about people solely by automated processing with legal or similarly significant effects.
Where information is kept and who receives it
Our main contact record and relevant business files are kept in Google Drive. Necessary correspondence stays in the existing business email or messaging service used for the relationship. Dean controls access. At the date of this notice, identifiable client and prospect contact details are not shared with separate suppliers or contractors in Vietnam; Dean handles them within BridgeSolve and its existing service providers.
- Google: business email and Drive storage.
- OpenAI ChatGPT Sites and its infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery, security and built-in traffic reporting.
- WhatsApp, Zalo and LinkedIn: communications through the channel you choose. The website contains ordinary links to these services; it does not load their chat widgets, embedded feeds or advertising pixels.
Clicking an email or phone link opens your chosen application. Following a messaging or social-media link takes you to that provider, where its own privacy terms apply. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims. Any new sharing for an engagement will be explained before it begins.
Working across borders
Dean works across the UK and Vietnam and may access BridgeSolve business information while in Vietnam. Access by Dean within the same company is distinct from disclosure to a separate overseas business.
Our cloud, hosting and communications providers operate internationally, so information is not guaranteed to remain in the UK. OpenAI's published Sites data-processing terms provide for UK data to be processed under standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum. Google describes its transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses as applicable. Cloudflare's privacy policy explains its international processing and transfer safeguards; its infrastructure may process cookie data in the United States.
When you use an external communications service, its own international-processing arrangements also apply. Contact Dean for information about the safeguards relevant to your information and how to obtain a copy. We do not claim that all providers process information in a single country.
How long we keep information
We keep prospect and client contact information while there is an active relationship or a reasonable legitimate business need. We periodically review inactive contacts and delete information no longer required. Particular records may be kept longer for contracts, accounting, tax, legal or regulatory requirements.
The period depends on the purpose, relationship, record-keeping obligations and any need to establish or defend claims. Keeping a contract or invoice does not justify keeping every prospect note or continuing marketing. We remove unnecessary duplicates and retain only minimal do-not-contact information where needed to respect an objection. Backup copies remain outside routine use until their normal secure expiry.
Cookie lifetimes are listed below. A cookie's expiry is not a promise that all related server records are deleted at the same time. Hosting and security records are retained under the providers' applicable service and retention terms for their operational, security and legal purposes. Contact Dean for information about a specific record.
Cookies and website technologies
The following were observed on the live main website on 9 October 2026. Cookie lifetimes can renew when the service issues a new cookie.
These platform cookies are set through hosting responses, not by an analytics tag added to our page. The site has no Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager tag, advertising pixel, session-replay tool, contact-click tracking or report-link tracking. Google Search Console reports search performance without adding a visitor-tracking script to this site. Fonts and images are served from our own website. No application local-storage or session-storage entries, embedded frames or service workers were found in the live check.
The host currently sets its visitor cookie when a page loads, before any consent choice. We do not currently have an on-site control that prevents it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although blocking security cookies can affect access. Browser settings are not a substitute for any consent mechanism we are required to provide. Contact Dean to object to analytics processing or request assistance. We are reviewing this host-controlled behaviour and will update this notice and the controls when it is resolved; this notice does not claim that the visitor cookie is exempt from consent requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy where that right applies. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Contact dean@bridgesolve.co.uk. We may need to confirm identity proportionately. We respond without undue delay, normally within one calendar month, subject to lawful extensions or exceptions. If we cannot take the requested action, we explain why and how to complain.
Concerns and complaints
Please contact Dean if you have a concern about our handling of personal information. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to contact us before approaching the ICO.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our practices change and explain material new uses before they begin. The version and date above identify the current published notice.
